While I was gathering recyclables for my supplies shop, I came across the base of this fine piece; the graduating ball chain.  The clasp on it was kinda rusty and bad, but as you see I replaced that with a shiny new lobster claw clasp and bright silver extender chain with a cute silver heart at the end.  
Then came the hard part, finding just the right jump rings to go in between the balls on the chain but still hold the chain fringe.  I then kept adding and adding bits and pieces of different types, and sizes of recycled and rescued chains, over 100 pieces, until I got the gorgeous and substantial piece you now see in the pictures.  
I figure this piece can be dressed up with a slinky low cut black or silver blouse or dress, or dressed down with a v-neck solid color T, and jeans with a leather jacket.  Might even be good for the entertainer on stage.  That seems to be where I get most of my inspiration these days.  I wonder why?  Could it be because that is what I do? Naw!
